Many Disney World Resorts are getting in on the Halloween fun!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Sea Witch’s Brew – When visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, be sure to visit one of my (Susan) favorite restaurants, Sanaa or Sanaa Lounge. For only a short time, October 24 – 31, guests can order a Sea Witch’s Brew. In addition, this adult beverage contains vodka, raspberry liqueur, blue Curaçao beverage syrup, muddled berries, and edible glitter served in a Collins glass with a blue glow cube.
Value Resorts
Spooky Apple Spiced Spider Cupcake– Creep over to Disney’s Value Resorts to locate this flavorful vanilla cupcake features apple filling and spiced buttercream caramel drizzle. However, it’s only available October 25 through October 31.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Mini Halloween Cake – To find this hallowed sprinkle cake with candy bar custard and chocolate glaze, catch the monorail to Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s Contempo Café. It’s available the entire month of October.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
After visiting the Contempo Café, hop back on the monorail. Be sure to stop at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to taste an array of spooky treats. In addition, all of these are offered now through November 1.
Jack Skellington Pumpkin Pie Pop – Pumpkin pie colossal pop covered in white chocolate decorated as the iconic Pumpkin King. It looks too pretty to eat!
Hocus Pocus “Amuck” Cakes – These adorable cupcakes feature the beloved Sanderson sisters. Just check out the adorable frosting hairdos! I (Susan) adore the white chocolate disc. Finally, it’s only fitting that these treats are a rich devil’s food cake with “peanut boo-tter.”
Sally’s Stitched Up Whoopie Pie Heart – The intricate details on this Whoopie Pie are amazing! Hope you try this Vanilla heart-shaped whoopie pie adorned with Sally’s signature patchwork.
Be-Witching Minnie Mouse Cupcake – Minnie approves of this cookies and cream-filled chocolate cupcake covered in a delicious chocolate ganache. To make it even cuter, it has an adorable Minnie Mouse chocolate witch hat on top.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Both the Gurgling Suitcase Libations and Spirits and Olivia’s Café offer Halloween cocktails. Each of these libations can be found from September 26 until November 25. In addition, there is a delightfully scary dessert found at Good’s Food to go, Conch Flatts General Store, and Turtle Shack Poolside Snacks from October 1 through October 31.
Cocktails – First, try the Harvest Refresher. A vibrant drink featuring vodka with cranberry juice and muddled oranges. Second, go for the Apple Cider Old Fashioned. It contains bourbon with fresh apple cider, bitters, muddled oranges, and brown sugar cinnamon. Lastly, for dessert, sample the Caramel Apple Martini. Here, you’ll taste vanilla vodka, butterscotch flavor liqueur, and fresh apple cider. It comes with a brown sugar cinnamon rim.
Poisoned Delight – I (Susan) cannot wait to see this dessert in person. It sounds so beautiful! It’s a violet white chocolate mousse dome with an apple insert and fresh apple cake covered in a white chocolate glaçage. Yum!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Disney’s Riviera Resort is the most beautiful resort on Disney property. From the coffee shop to it’s signature restaurant, Topolino’s Terrace, all of the food is top notch! Check out the delectable cheesecake offerings at Le Petit Café.
Milk Chocolate and Chocolate-Hazelnut Cheesecake – Feast on this fabulous graham cracker sable-inspired acorn. It’s caramel milk chocolate mousse, chocolate-hazelnut cheesecake, roasted white chocolate shell are not to be missed. Available September 25 until November 27.
Milk Chocolate and Chocolate-Hazelnut Cheesecake – Also, this cheesecake features Caramel milk chocolate mousse, chocolate-hazelnut cheesecake, dark chocolate glaçage, and graham cracker sable inspired bat. Only available for a limited time, October 24 through October 31.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
While at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, head toward toward the Seven Seas Lagoon to Geyser Point. Here, you’ll find a colorful Halloween drink flight. Note that these are available for individual purchase as well. All of these drinks are made with tequila and various mixers.
Cocktails – All of these adult drinks can be purchased from October 3 until November 7. First, is simply the Blood Orange. The bartenders mix tequila, blood orange, and simple syrup with lime juice for this libation. Next, is the Black Magic Margarita with tequila, blue Curaçao beverage syrup, green apple syrup, grenadine, sour mix, and a glow cube.
Third, Around the Pumpkin Patch is made with tequila, pumpkin spice, lime juice, and sour mix. Last, the Poison Apple with tequila, green apple syrup, lime juice, and sour mix with a poison apple glow cube. Or, try the Holiday Drink Flight, a flight with all four holiday drinks featured above.
Another location, the Roaring Fork, a quick service location, sells devilishly spooky treats for your Halloween fun.
Going Batty Cupcake – Chocolate cupcake with ganache icing and sugar cookie bat. Available for just 3 days, October 28 until October 31.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The Market at Ale and Compass and Beach Club Marketplace offer 2 yummy desserts. Both are available the entire month of October. Check them out below.
Mummy Cupcake – Chocolate cupcake with a pumpkin mousse filling.
Tiramisu Grave – A classic tiramisù with coffee flavor and a chocolate pretzel skeleton with a marshmallow for a head.
Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
Next, stroll down the boardwalk to Boardwalk Bakery to spot 3 tempting desserts. All of them are served from October 24 – 31.
Macaroon Pumpkin Pop – Coconut macaroon pumpkin on a stick.
Candy Corny Cupcake – Vanilla cupcake filled with white chocolate candy corn mousse and topped with baker’s cream.
Vampire Mickey Brownie – Ganache-covered brownie with Mickey ears and vampire fangs.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
At Disney’s Saratoga Springs, check out another dessert covered in decadent chocolate glaçage. If you dare, try this “poison” from October 1 – 31.
Poisoned Delight – Violet white chocolate mousse dome with an apple insert and fresh apple cake covered in a white chocolate glaçage.
Disney Springs
Our first treat is located at Amorette’s Patisserie is a quirky Haunted Mansion Cake – Brownie with diplomat filling with purple and black chiffon cake. Available now through October 31.
Next, locate the Dockside Margarita for the Jack O’Lantern – Black rum, rum, white rum, orange-flavored triple sec liqueur, orange juice, lemonade, and a grenadine float. Also, available now through October 31.
