Disney Issues Warning for Yacht and Beach Club Guests

Walt Disney World is now notifying Guests with reservations at Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club.

Disney is now alerting Guests that one popular amenity, the FriendShip Boat Dock, will close for maintenance beginning August 17 through August 21, 2026.

This will impact Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Guests heading towards EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Guests heading to EPCOT will need to plan to use the pedestrian walkways.

Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Guests heading towards Disney's Hollywood Studios have three options. First, they may use pedestrian walkways. Second, Guests may use bus transportation.

The FriendShip Boat Dock will close for maintenance beginning August 17 through August 21, 2026 at Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club.

Finally, Guests could also use the Skyliner at EPCOT's International Gateway. From here, Guests can transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to board the Skyliner towards Disney's Hollywood Studios.
