If you want to enjoy an elegant resort during your Walt Disney World Vacation, look no further than Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Not only are the updated DVC and hotel rooms GORGEOUS, but the resort offers great amenities and fantastic dining options.

If you want something quick, simply head to Gasparilla Island Grill. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers a variety of quick hot options.

And don’t forget there are quick service options at Beaches Pool Bar & Grill and Courtyard Pool Bar, too! You might also enjoy some yummy bites at Enchanted Rose Lounge.

If you want low-key table-service meals, you will be thrilled with the options at Grand Floridian Cafe. This is a little hidden gem, and it often has walk-up availability.

On the other hand, if you are after a fine/signature experience, the Grand Floridian has some of the best Disney has to offer. Coastal-themed Narcoossee’s and Mary Poppins-themed Citricos both offer dreamy dishes.

The Grand Floridian is also home to AAA Five Diamond Award winner Victoria and Albert’s. Guests can enjoy 3 unique dining experiences here for an unforgettable culinary adventure!

With so many dining options, it may be tough to decide what to eat when you visit. Here is a rundown of 10 of The Grand Floridian’s BEST BITES to help you decide what to indulge in during your visit.

10. Acai Bowl

You can find a uniquely delicious quick-service breakfast at Gasparilla Grill. The Acai Bowl is a delightful treat to enjoy on a warm day.

It is comprised of House-made Acai Sorbet, Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, and Almond-Pecan Granola topped with Agave. Does sorbet really count as a breakfast item? If does if you are in Disney World!

This is a truly refreshing dish, and it is a welcome little splash of variety since the other items on the menu are available just about everywhere.

9. Avocado Toast

I do miss the lobster options at the Grand Floridian Cafe. In the absence of the Lobster Benedict and the Lobster Burger, the best savory entree is one of the plant-based options, the Avocado Toast.

This is technically an appetizer, but it is hearty enough to make a meal of. The dish is comprised of Avocado, Fire-roasted Tomatoes, and Micro Greens on Multigrain Toast.

8. Brioche French Toast

I adore French Toast and have eaten just about every piece Disney has to offer. The Grand Floridian Cafe has some of the very best French Toast you will find on Disney property.

This dish is Madagascar Vanilla Bean-scented Brioche French Toast and is typically served with Bacon or Sausage. It is dreamy and custardy.

7. Seasonal Salad

The Grand Floridian actually has a number of delicious salads including the Blueberry and Barrel Aged Feta Salad and the Heirloom Apple Salad at Grand Floridian Cafe. But perhaps the best of these can be found at Citricos. The seasonal salad is something truly special. In fact, it easily made our list of Disney’s best salads.

While the salad offering can vary seasonally, its best incarnation is the strawberry salad. It comes with Chamomile-infused Goat Cheese, Frisée, Spiced Sunflower Seeds, and Bacon Vinaigrette. It is truly one of the best.

6. Wild Mushroom Risotto

One of the best accompaniments you will find at any Walt Dinsey World restaurant is the Wild Mushroom Risotto at Narcoossee’s. While this is meant to accompany a meal, it could easily serve as a stand-alone dish, especially if it were paired with a soup or a salad.

The risotto is rich with an interesting balance of delicate and powerful flavors. If you love mushrooms, you will truly be delighted with this dish.

5. Oak-grilled Filet Mignon

If you love steak, your best option at the Grand Floridian is at Citricos. In fact, the offering there made our list of Disney’s Best Steaks.

The Oak-grilled Fillet Mignon is a special dish. While I typically enjoy fillet with no frills, here is a case where the extra components complement the meat instead of covering it up. It is served with Potato Purée, Seasonal Vegetables, and Guajillo Beef Jus, and the combination is balanced and flavorful.

4. Lobster Bisque

I love a good lobster bisque. Narcoossee’s serves a great lobster bisque. While many Walt Disney World restaurants offer lovely variants of the dish, this may be the fairest of them all.

Butter-poached Lobster, Vanilla, and Coral come together to create a rich dish. And, certainly, there is plenty of lobster in the dish.

3. Plancha-seared Scallops & Parisian Gnocchi

Narcoossee’s is known for its seafood dishes, and it does so many things well that it can be difficult to finalize your selections. But, rest assured, the scallop offering is a perfect example of excellence.

The Plancha-seared Scallops & Parisian Gnocchi dish comes with English Peas, Tasso Ham, and Truffled Meyer Lemon Cream. The whole thing is dreamy and citrusy and buttery, and the scallops are seared to perfection. It is another special dish that you will not regret ordering.

2. A Delightful Trio

If you ever have an opportunity to indulge in bucket-list-worthy dining at Walt Disney World, take it. Victoria and Albert’s is a TREAT, and it starts with the very first course offered on the chef’s menu in the dining room. The trio of petite dishes will vary somewhat based on seasonal ingredients.

The last time I visited, they included Japanese Wagyu with capers and Calabrian chili, Maine Lobster Tartelette with watermelon and coriander, and Cinco Jotas Iberico ham with Bonny Melon and Black Lime. I cannot think of a better way to begin a meal.

1. The Protein Courses at Victoria and Albert’s

Honestly, all of the proteins at Victoria and Albert’s are expertly prepared. They offer delight after delight after delight for a discerning palate.

Regardless of what is on the menu, you will be impressed with the flavors. The fish courses are particularly well-prepared in a way that honors every component both separately and in combination with one another.

Final Thoughts

Certainly, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to delicious foods at The Grand Floridian. It is one of the most well-rounded resorts in terms of food offerings.

And, we are hoping that even MORE offerings return to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We still miss 1900 Park Faire and the Grand View Tea Room. If and when they reopen, they will add even more treats to the mix.
