We spotted a new food item today in the Magic Kingdom. Here are our thoughts on it!
Magic Kingdom Food
While Magic Kingdom may be the most well known theme park in the world, it is not exactly known for its dining. Don’t get me wrong, I (Monica) love Casey’s corn dogs, Sleepy Hollow waffles, and dining inside Cinderella Castle.
However, when you take a step back and really think about the park as a whole the dining options are not a big selling point. Epcot and Animal Kingdom have much more creative and delicious options.
New Food Item
Other than Sleepy Hollow and Friar’s Nook, there are not a ton of quick-service breakfast choices in the park. Starbucks is a great choice for morning coffee and a pastry. Additionally, Cinderella’s Royal Table and The Crystal Palace are the only table-service options.
It leaves many Guests with no other options but to eat outside the park or bring food in. Enter: this new item.
While waiting for Haunted Mansion to open this morning, we decided to take a break and grab some breakfast. We spotted a NEW breakfast item at the Popcorn Cart in the Hub. You can find it near the entrance to Tomorrowland.
It is a breakfast bagel sandwich: sausage, egg, and cheddar served on a bagel. The bagel is priced at $7.25 which isn’t bad for a great on-the-go option with protein and carbs.
Review
This is the exact same egg, sausage, and cheese you will find in the breakfast biscuit at Animal Kingdom. The only difference here is the sandwich is served on a bagel.
This would be a great option for breakfast, if you need something in between attractions. It is only served from 9:00 to 11:00 am daily, so just be mindful of that.
Let us know if you try this new bagel! Be sure to pass this post along to a friend who is visiting Magic Kingdom soon.

We bring breakfast items with us when we stay on-site, almost always in a DVC Villa or Studio. Even the studio rooms have a 1/2 size fridge, big coffee maker and toaster. 1, 2 and 3 br Villas have full kitchens. We save a ton of money by doing this (usually 4 or 6 of us on each WDW vacation), and we save a ton of time. Having coffee in the room makes for a more relaxing start to any day.
