Disney's Beloved Spaceship Earth To Become a Teen Sci-Fi Series
This is not the news we were expecting, but a pilot was just ordered for a Spaceship Earth series.

Spaceship Earth is the most iconic structure in all of Epcot and probably second in all of Disney World behind Magic Kingdom's Cinderella Castle.
It debuted along with the opening of the park in 1982 and is considered to be the bold and vibrant symbol of Epcot.
The premise of the 16-minute attraction is to take travelers on a journey to witness the landmark moments of innovation that made communication today possible.
Spaceship Earth Pilot Disney+
Watch cavemen paint on cave walls, thank the Phoenicians for inventing the alphabet, and marvel at the invention of the printing press. Since 2020, we have heard rumors that a big refurbishment may be on the way for Spaceship Earth.
Surprisingly that is not the big news for Spaceship Earth, but instead a pilot has been ordered for a Disney+ series.
While many details are still missing, we have a basic premise for this series.
Spaceship Earth Pilot
The plot for Spaceship Earth pilot: "When a mission to avert an imminent global cataclysm goes awry, a small band of teenagers from Earth's past and future must join forces to confront a threat as vast and mysterious as time itself."
Disney+ ordered a pilot for a Spaceship Earth series.
This pilot will be directed by Lee Toland Krieger and Jason Fuchs will serve as showrunner.

Everything in entertainment boils down to good storytelling. Same for this Spaceship Earth television show. If the stories are well written with a captivating plot, it might do well for a season. I am more optimistic that I was initially. I dont known if there is enough source material for more than one season. I would like to know what the cavemen were saying, same too for the Greeks, Romans, Arabic and Hebrew scholars. Lets not forget the Phoenicians. maybe this show can interpret what they are saying.
