Disney World Park Hours 2027

Although the Disney Parks stay busy throughout the calendar year, there are slower times for the parks. With the growing list of refurbishments, it appears that January may be "Refurbishment Month" for the Disney Parks.
This affects many attractions and Resorts throughout Walt Disney World. Another factor affecting Theme Park operations in January is the runDisney Marathon Weekend.
runDisney Marathon Weekend 2027 begins Thursday, January 7th, through Sunday, January 10th. This allows runners to race through all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks, but also creates a few problems for Park Guests.
EPCOT Reduced Park Hours

This race weekend consists of a 5K on Thursday, January 7th; a 10K on Friday, January 8th; a half marathon on Saturday, January 9th; and a full marathon on January 10th.
Due to these race dates, EPCOT will open later on Thursday, January 7th; Saturday, January 9th; and Sunday, January 10th. EPCOT will offer Early Entry at 9:30 am (instead of the typical 8:30 am) and 10:00 am (instead of 9:00 am) for all other Guests.
EPCOT opens an hour later on 3 dates in January 2027.
During these morning, there may be more Guests than usual due to runners completing the race and taking photos in the park.
What do you think of these reduced park hours? Will this affect your Disney Park plans? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
