Big Entertainment Changes Hit Magic Kingdom Starting Next Week
Several entertainment options have been removed without warning! See the updated showtimes and see the reason behind these unexpected changes.
Holiday Filming at Disney World
As many Disney fans know, Disney produces a number of shows throughout the holidays. These specials share great entertainment featured inside the Disney Parks and allow guests and Cast Members to be featured on camera.
A few years ago, I (Donna) enjoyed holiday filming at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Be sure to read the full story from that experience HERE.
This can be a magical experience for many guests, but it does alter the traditional entertainment schedule for guests visiting.
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire Reduced
One of the best ways to see when holiday filming may occur at Magic Kingdom is to watch the schedule for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. On November 10th and November 11th, there are no showtimes for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. All other dates, both before and after, offer a 2:00 pm showtime.
Holiday Filming will also affect Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire. Normal operations offer guests five showtimes daily (depending on weather), but this will be greatly reduced on both November 10th and November 11th, 2026.
On November 10, 2026, there will only be 2 showtimes offered at 9:15 am and 12:00 pm. For November 11th, 2026, only 1 showtime will be removed, allowing Guests to enjoy this stage show at 10:10 am, 11:35 am, 12:45 pm, and 4:00 pm.
Main Street Entertainment Canceled
Filming will also cancel the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade on November 10, 2026. Showtime will resume on November 11, 2026, at 11:05 am.
The Dapper Dans have reduced showtimes on November 11, 2026, with their usual 2:55 pm showtime removed. On November 10, 2026, all Dapper Dans performances are canceled.
With entertainment changes, it appears that November 10, 2026, is the most affected date next week.
Filming also affects Casey's Corner Pianist, with only 3 performances offered on November 10, 2026, at 11:40 am, 12:25 pm, and 5:30 pm. On November 11, 2026, only one performance is canceled, with the remaining showtimes being: 10:50 am, 1:15 pm, 3:40 pm, 4:35 pm, and 5:30 pm.
With entertainment changes, it appears that November 10, 2026, is the most affected date next week. Thankfully, holiday filming does not affect nighttime entertainment at the Magic Kingdom.
