Fall at Magic Kingdom is a fun and festive time to visit the park. Guests will find fall decorations throughout the park!

This year, the fall decorations arrived in early August. We expected to see an early arrival of the fall decor, as this year's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was the earliest start ever! The first party was on August 7th.

Last night, was the last night for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year. Once Halloween is over, Magic Kingdom transforms and gets a Christmas/Holiday overlay.

Guests were disappointed when they arrived at Magic Kingdom this morning. As they reported that the Halloween decorations were removed, but no Christmas decorations had been placed.

It has varied when the decorations go up, sometimes the park transforms from Halloween to Christmas overnight. While other times we have seen a day with no overlay as the Halloween decorations had been removed (like today), and the Christmas decorations not placed yet. It is an impressive site (and one of my, Heather's, favorites) to see the transformation happen overnight.

When Will The Decorations Go Up?

Guests can expect the Magic Kingdom Christmas decorations to go up soon! The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is set for November 8th.

The decorations will go up gradually over the next few days, but Guests can expect to see the park decked out in its Christmas decor before the start of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
