Here’s when Epcot work will be totally complete!

Raise your hand if you’re sick of the construction at Epcot. Here’s when we can expect that work to be totally complete!

Epcot Expansion

At the last D23 event in September 2019, Disney announced a ton of projects for Epcot, which ultimately led to the complete overhaul of the park.

We have seen several of those projects completed like the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Space 220, the reimagining of Mouse Gears (into Creations Shop) and Club Cool, and the overhaul of the park’s entrance.

We will see a new quick-service restaurant as well as a new Walt Disney statue. Some projects are in the process of being completed, like the Moana water attraction.

I won’t lie, the construction walls have been frustrating as we wait for the Epcot project to be done.

Completion Timeline

Now it looks like we know when the Epcot will project will BE done! Totally done! D23 has brought a ton of news this weekend like the return of entertainment, new entertainment, Disney on Broadway performances, and even new cavalcades!

At the Sunday afternoon session, Disney Imagineer John Dennis stated that the expansion will be complete in 2023!

Composer Pinar Toprak is currently working on a new Epcot theme song which will be completed around the same time.

Epcot’s expansion will be completely done in 2023.

While we don’t have a more precise timeline, it is encouraging to know that many projects will be done in 2022 and into 2023. So far, the projects have turned out beautifully, and we are so excited to see the finished product!

I’m especially excited about that Walt statue.

What do you think about all these Epcot projects? Are you liking the overhaul so far? Do you think 2023 is too far away or are you being patient? Join the conversation in the comments below and on Facebook.

I kinda think Disney over reached and should have not done so many projects at the same time in Epcot. As a person who can only afford to go to Disney every so often it is disappointing to go to Epcot only to see so many walls .
