8 New Menu Items Arrive at Magic Kingdom Restaurants
Three Magic Kingdom Restaurants receive great menu upgrades, including the perfect Steamboat Willie Shake. Yes please!
Magic Kingdom Dining
While Magic Kingdom may be the most well-known theme park in the world, it is not exactly known for its dining.
Many guests enjoy the princess character dining experience at Cinderella's Royal Table and dining with the Beast at Be Our Guest, but this park still needs a bit more for unique dining. These, along with several other Character Dining locations, experienced price increases earlier this month.
Disney is now updating 3 Magic Kingdom restaurants that may have you making new dining reservations to enjoy each of these.
Be Our Guest
Be Our Guests Restaurant is located in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Offering both lunch and dinner, the price is fixed to include a 3-course menu of French cuisine that will delight both the young and the young at heart.
We recently shared news of a new souvenir, "Be Our Guest Goblet" that lights up. While many have booked dining reservations for this fun souvenir, there are now 3 new reasons to book a Be Our Guest dining reservation:
- Beef Bourguignon en Croute slow cooked in red wine, with potatoes, root vegetables, smoked bacon, and bone marrow (picture above)
- Truffle Pomme Frites: Parmesan cheese and black garlic-truffle aioli
- Lobster Macaroni au Gratin with sauce Mornay
Plaza Restaurant & Tony's Town Square
Historically, Tony's Town Square Restaurant is one of Disney World's most poorly reviewed restaurants, but in recent years, many changes have been made to its menu. Now, 3 new additions are served, including:
- Insalata della Casa: Greens, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, pepperoncini, tossed in balsamic vinaigrette
- Lasagna alla Bolognese: Meat sauce layered with mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, pecorino Romano
- Eggplant Parmigiana (Plant-based): Lightly breaded eggplant baked in Tony's Marinara Sauce with plant-based mozzarella served with spaghetti
The Plaza Restaurant adds a new Steamboat Willie Milkshake to its menu.
Located at the end of Main Street U.S.A., The Plaza Restaurant offers beautiful views of Cinderella Castle in a turn-of-the-century atmosphere. This is one of my (Donna) favorite dining locations at Magic Kingdom thanks to a delicious menu and breathtaking views of Cinderella Castle.
Now this great menu is getting even better with these new additions:
- Steamboat Willie Milkshake: Hand-dipped cookies 'n cream ice cream topped with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, sugar cookie, and a cherry
- Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad: Hard-boiled egg, avocado purée, tomatoes, cracked pepper, Thousand Island dressing
