2 Big Disney Character Meet-Ups Just Changed at Hollywood Studios
We have been begging for this change for 3 YEARS! Find out how you can experience this rare meet and greet during your next trip to Hollywood Studios.
Disney World Characters
One thing that sets Disney apart from any other theme park is the great character interactions. We love meeting classic characters like Mickey Mouse and the Fab 5.
But then we also love meeting the characters that are a bit more rare. This summer was extra magical at Walt Disney World with "Cool Kid Summer". Part of the fun was roaming characters throughout each park.
When "Magic of Disney Animation" opened last month, new character interactions delighted Guests at "Off the Page".
Mandalorian & Grogu
Mandalorian and Grogu arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios on March 1, 2023. This was after the Mandalorian and Grogu first appeared at Disneyland on November 18, 2022.
When they first arrived, the Mandalorian and Grogu were not listed on the My Disney Experience app, and this meet-and-greet information was a little elusive. This may be in part due to the popularity of this meet-and-greet.
After several months of greeting guests at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios, they finally listed an actual meet-and-greet schedule for both the Mandalorian and Grogu. While they both continued to roam near Black Spire Market, they now had a list of times listed on the My Disney Experience app.
Mandalorian Traditional Meet & Greet
Now we have two options to interact with the Mandalorian and Grogu. The duo will still roam throughout the Black Spire Market, but they will also hold a traditional meet-and-greet near the Millennium Falcon.
This meet-and-greet even offers a PhotoPass photographer. No more trying to take a selfie while making your way through crowds of people.
Mandalorian & Grogu now offer a traditional meet-and-greet near the Millennium Falcon.
The My Disney Experience app lists times for both the roaming interaction listed as "Sightings Around Batuu" and the traditional meet-and-greet "Near Millennium Falcon". It is great that now Guests can choose from two great experiences.
What do you think of this meet-and-greet with the Mandalorian and Grogu? Have you met them yet? Will you add this to your touring plan for your next trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
