Disney Tests Removing Another Single Rider Attraction
After eliminating the single rider line at Expedition Everest, Walt Disney World is now testing another popular single rider line.
Single Rider Line

Single Rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those traveling solo or those who don't mind riding the attraction without the rest of their party. Basically, single riders get placed wherever there is a seat available.
Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less time waiting in line!
Attractions at Disney World that use Single Rider access include Test Track, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. Occasionally, Soarin' and Rise of the Resistance offer a Single Rider line as well.
Expedition Everest Single Rider

Earlier, we shared that Guests visiting Animal Kingdom reported that there was a change at Expedition Everest. Guests in the standby queue are being pre-sorted in the final holding room.
Cast Members instruct even-numbered parties to go left and odd-numbered parties to go right in the final holding room. Cast Members could also close this Single Rider queue at any time during the day while this testing proved efficient.
This then led to the announcement that on Monday, September 21, 2026, Expedition Everest will no longer offer a Single Rider line.
Test Track Single Rider

Unfortunately, the bad news does not end there. Now, a new test of ride operations affects the single rider line at EPCOT's Test Track. This is without a doubt my (Donna) family's favorite single rider line.
Yesterday, October 14, 2026, several Guests noted that the entire single rider line was closed for Test Track. Cast Members explained that they were testing a new operating procedure.
October 14, 2026, Test Track's single rider line was closed for the entire day.
While this does not confirm the closure of Test Track's single rider line, it does sound a bit ominous, especially after the recent single rider line closure at Expedition Everest.
Many question if this is even feasible with the three seats per row for each ride vehicle. We hope the single rider line will remain open for this attraction.
