New Disney World Warning that Guests May Lose Sleep

Disney just announced that something is happening soon that may affect your plans! Don’t miss out on this warning so you won’t be caught off guard!

EPCOT Resorts

Staying at EPCOT Resorts make it so convenient. These include: Beach ClubYacht Club, BoardwalkSwanSwan Reserve, and Dolphin. Each of these resorts is uniquely themed and gives guests impressive perks. I (Susan) love staying at any of these resorts during my Disney World vacation. Take a look at more details on why these are the best resorts HERE.

Why Stay Here?

First, guests can take a short walk to EPCOT. If you’re up for a longer hike, then stroll to Hollywood Studios. In addition, you can enjoy a leisure boat ride to either park. Exiting the park at International Gateway and walking back after a long day in the park is also amazing!

Guests staying at select Disney resorts tonight, November 11, may be awakened late at night and/or early in the morning! Disney announced that EPCOT fireworks testing will take place tonight from 10:30pm until 1:00am.

Disney warns that since pyrotechnics and special effects will be tested, expect the noise level to be quite loud during these times.

Fireworks testing will be taking place in EPCOT from 10:30pm until 1:00am tonight, November 11.

This not only affects EPCOT Resorts directly on Crescent Lake, but also those close to EPCOT. Recently, we shared testing taking place a few weeks ago HERE.

While Disney didn’t state that this testing is for EPCOT’s new fireworks show, Luminous, this show debuts on December 5 so it is most likely for this new show.

Are you excited about EPCOT’s new firework show? Do you wish testing took place earlier or are you excited for a chance at a sneak peek of the fireworks show? Please let us know in the comments and share this post with a Disney fireworks loving friend.
