One of the busiest weekends of the entire year is Labor Day Weekend. It’s a great time for families to come and take a quick break since most schools are not in session on Monday.

Unfortunately, with those crowds come the stories. Here is a quick recap of what has taken place this weekend.

On Saturday, a man with a hatchet was seen at Tom Sawyer Island, causing an evacuation of the attraction. See our original story HERE, exclusive details HERE, and an eye witness account HERE.

Later on Saturday, a fight between multiple Guests broke out on a ferry boat leaving the Magic Kingdom. Read the original story HERE and an update from the person who recorded the incident HERE.

Late yesterday evening, September 5, the Yacht Club Resort was evacuated. The incident took place sometime around 9:00 or 10:00 pm based on social media reports.

This fire alarm incident comes shortly after supposed fire alarm malfunctions closed Living with the Land for almost two weeks. The Polynesian and Hollywood Studios also evacuated Guests recently as well.

We are unsure what caused the fire alarm, but it does not appear there was a real fire. According to social media reports, kitchen staff told Guests a child pulled the alarm.

As Labor Day Weekend draws to a close today, we hope things go more smoothly at Disney World. Stay tuned for any more updates or stories that occur on this busy holiday weekend.

For years, Disney was immune to the obnoxious few that refuse to follow the rules and exhibit bad manners. The ‘Me First’ attitude promoted by some is ruining Everything in America.

I wasn't there this time, but I did experience a kid pulling the fire alarm -in the middle of the night- at Yacht Club once. The year was 2001, and it was summertime. I believe it was around 3-4 AM. My nephews were beating the bedside alarm clock because they didn't yet realize it was actually a fire alarm making the sound. We all got up and got outside as quickly as possible. Hundreds of other pajama-clad people poured out around Crescent Lake. It took a really long time for the cast members to check the whole place and be confident that there wasn't really a fire. I believe the part I remember the most was the horrifically long lines for the bathroom at the pool. We were a bit groggy for much of the day at the parks - but the incident made the trip extra memorable and I won't complain about that.

There have been several maintenance related issues at WDW, I question why management is not focused on doing routine maintenance and is not focused on park guest safety. The current management needs to go.

As long as the current state of no culpability, no manners. And "woke" is tolerated this will happen more and more. We need to get back to common sense manners, and agree to disagree without turning into 5 year Olds, and feeling the need to beat someone up for not liking what you like.
