A favorite quick-service spot for many WDW Guests is reopening! However, it will only be open during the weekends. What do you think of the reduced hours?
Dining Locations Reopening Around Disney World
With the reopening of Disney World, many Guests were a bit disappointed to find out that not every restaurant was reopening with the theme parks and resorts.
It just did not make sense financially or logistically with the reduced number of people in the parks.
However, in recent weeks, crowds have increased with more Guests coming back to visit Mickey and friends. To help accommodate this influx and continue with getting the Resort back up to “normal” operations, Disney has been slowly reopening restaurants around property.
Recent Reopening Announcements
Over at Magic Kingdom, Gaston’s Tavern has reopened. It’s even boasting a new menu item!
Cinderella’s Royal Table also just reopened yesterday, sans Princesses. Or maybe not! One was spotted greeting diners for the soft reopening!
At Hollywood Studios, we look forward to seasonal dining at Hollywood and Vine. Not only will we get to see Minnie and her crew in Halloween costumes, but later this year they will switch to festive attire for the holidays!
ABC Commissary, a great quick-service option at Hollywood Studios, will be reopening to Guests in the near future as well.
EPCOT continues to gradually introduce more dining options. Being that there is such unique cuisine to be enjoyed there, we are particularly excited about the locations that are reopening.
Chefs de France reopens in October after being pushed back a bit. Reservations are currently available so grab them while you can!
Most Recent Reopening
Most recently, Yorkshire County Fish Shop reopened! They serve up some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had!
The Disney World website currently says temporarily unavailable, but it has been open during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) only.
Disney World has been generally busier during the weekend with Florida residents arriving in droves to get away for a few days. EPCOT has always been busier during the weekends for Food & Wine Festival so it makes sense for them to have plenty of dining locations open during busier times.
