Construction Around Fort Wilderness Campground
The Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has undergone and continues to go through quite a bit of construction. Earlier this year the resort completed erosion work along with a lobby refurbishment.
Disney has been working on a new recreation activities area for guests to enjoy.
But this hasn't been the only construction happening around The Fort. Disney Vacation Club is also constructing Disney Lakeshore Lodge which is just behind Pioneer Hall. You can see photos of the construction HERE. Check out some of the latest details HERE.
New Pool!
In April, The Fort Wilderness opened their new pool. Even though this pool does not feature a water slide. It does offer zero entry. This new pool gives campers even more space to cool off.
This pool is in the meadows area and is near the current feature pool, Meadow Swimmin' Pool.

Courts NOW OPEN!
Guests are reporting that the tennis court and the two pickleball courts are now open! This is great news for Fort Guests, as they have been excitedly waiting for these additions.

It is important to note that guests are reporting that golf cart parking is still located near the Campfire Sing-A-Long. Even though there is bike parking near the courts, there is no golf cart parking there. Guests can also find golf cart parking near the Meadow Trading Post.
