Walt Disney World is in the midst of rethemes and refurbishments. HERE is a list of all the rides that will be closed this month.

And, rides and attractions are the only things subject to refurbishment. Hotel rooms, lobbies, and swimming pools around Disney World are all going through refurbishments as well!

And soon, a popular Walt Disney World Restaurant will be closing for a remodel as well! Here is what you need to know so you can manage your expectations.

Yachtsman Steakhouse

If you are looking for a good steak, many Walt Disney World fans will send you to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This restaurant is often considered a quintessential experience when it comes to signature dining at Disney.

You can read our full review HERE. But, if you want to dine at Yachtman Steakhouse before it closes for an extended period of time, you will need to hurry!

According to the Walt Disney World website, Yachtsman Steakhouse will close in May 2026 for a refresh. There is not a specific closing date listed; however, as of now, there are no reservations avaliable after May 10, 2026.

When Will Yachtsman Steakhouse Reopen

If you are hoping to dine at Yachtsman Steakhouse during your vacation, you will need to wait until much later this summer. Reopening expected by August 2026.

Yachtsman Steakhouse will close sometime in May and reopen this August.

However, if you want a little taste of Yachtsman, you could be in luck. Crewscup Lounge, which closed in February, is set to reopen in May. It features some of Yachtsman's popular menu items, including the onion bread and lobster bisque.
