Check out the new music coming to Cosmic Rewind

Want to enjoy EPCOT’s newest attraction this holiday season? We were a bit surprised by the new details of this holiday overlay.

Cosmic Rewind

This new family-thrill coaster matches the fun and thrill of the blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy” films. It features our favorite cosmic outlaws: Rocket, Groot, Drax, Gamora, and Star-Lord (a.k.a. Peter Quill). The one-of-a-kind attraction is another milestone in the ongoing transformation of EPCOT.

Christmas at EPCOT

The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. The beautiful Candlelight Processional will return this year. Be sure to check out the schedule for Candlelight Processional narrators HERE and also dining packages for this show HERE.

You will not want to miss out on Olaf’s Scavenger Hunt, the Holiday Cookie Stroll, wonderful Storytellers, and of course visiting with Santa himself. There is so much to enjoy during the Christmas season and now there is another great way to get into the holiday spirit this season.

Holiday Remix

In June, we first shared that EPCOT’s newest attraction, Cosmic Rewind, will offer a holiday overlay. “Guardians will trade in their classic hits playlist for a mash-up of seasonal jams at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Guests will blast off to the tune of an awesome holiday single, bringing joy to Xandar and Terra, too.”

At first, we assumed that this would be a playlist of different holiday songs. Currently, guests can enjoy one of six possible songs as they blast off in their Starjumper. It appears that all guests will enjoy the same holiday soundtrack for this overlay.

At the New York Comic Con, we learned that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will debut a custom song. This song will be a remix including many holiday classics. It will be interesting to hear what songs are featured in this overlay. We are kinda bummed that each ride for this holiday overlay will not offer a different song.

Disney has not yet announced when this holiday overlay will come to Cosmic Rewind. We assume this will begin with the start of the International Festival of the Holidays on November 25, 2022.
