New Song List revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

As Cast Member previews are well underway, we are beginning to hear wonderful reviews of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This is truly an awesome experience from the immersive queue, wonderfully themed Cast Member costumes, attraction touch points, and you can even check out the villain of this new attraction HERE.

Previews will soon begin for Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders, and a special ticketed event for D23 members. This all leads up to the opening of this attraction to all Guests on May 27, 2022. Many young Guests will also enjoy this exhilarating attraction. Song List Revealed

This thrilling, storytelling coaster invites guests on an intergalactic chase through time and space to help the Guardians of the Galaxy. The soundtracks for the Guardians of the Galaxy films are a huge part of the storylines. Many Guests have made their guesses of what may be included the soundtrack for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

As Cast Members have shared their experience on this attraction, it appears that Guests will hear one song during their ride aboard Cosmic Rewind.

As Cast Members have shared their experience on this attraction, it appears that Guests will hear one song during their ride aboard Cosmic Rewind. This will differ from the compilation soundtrack of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. It is possible that additional songs may be revealed during future journeys on Cosmic Rewind.

During the Cast Member previews, those in attendance shared the following song list:

• “Conga” by Gloria Estefan
• “I Ran (So Far Away)” by A Flock of Seagulls
• “Disco Inferno” by The Tramps
• “9 to 5” by Dolly Parton (not on official list)
• “Fire” by Ohio Players (not on official list)
• “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears

What is interesting is that this song list does not match the song list that was later confirmed by Disney Imagineers. The official playlist shared by Disney Imagineers does not “9 to 5” and “Fire” are not included in their song list. Instead they include these songs:

• “September”
• “One Way or Another”

We are unsure if these other 2 songs may be included on some rides or not. With storyline changing for each journey, this will definitely be a great attraction to ride over and over again.
