Reservations Now Available for Select Resort Dining

For a stress-free Disney or Universal Studios vacation, let the FREE expert planners at Royal Carriage Vacations take care of every detail including dining reservations, applying discounts, and onboard cruise credit.

Dining is now available for a couple of guest favorites! Read on to see which dining locations you can make reservations for.

The reopening of Walt Disney World has officially been kicked off this week beginning with a Cast Member preview day, followed by a special Annual Passholder preview that is taking place today. A few of the KtP writers are visiting the parks today!

The castle will look a little different when the parks reopen with a whole new look! Expect a little (a lot?) more pink and royal blues!

We are excited and happy to see the magic return. It has been a long few months and even though Disney did not go completely away, the parks being closed certainly left many people feeling like something was missing.

Dining Updates

Yesterday, we shared even more dining updates for select Walt Disney World Resorts. Tomorrow, July 10th, Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Contemporary Resort are set to reopen.

It was great to see that a couple of our favorite dining locations were also expected to reopen, including California Grill and Chef Mickey’s.

While this information was announced, many guests found that times were not yet available leading many to wonder just when reservations would open. We are happy to share that reservations for both California Grill and Chef Mickey’s have opened!

reservations for California Grill and Chef Mickey’s are now open!

All guests traveling within 60 days can now book at both of these locations, so hurry and grab those reservations if you have travel plans in your future!

Chef Mickey’s is still currently showing on Disney’s website as being “buffet/family” style location and there is still no mention of “character dining” or that it is “modified” in any way. Of course, as mentioned before, this is certainly subject to change. Hopefully, we will be able to see Chef Mickey and all of his pals real soon!

If you are interested in a “modified character dining” experience, head on over to Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera or Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT.

Will you be booking a dining reservation at either of these locations? Are you visiting Walt Disney World soon? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
