More Updates for Walt Disney World Resorts
Credit: Disney

The reopening of the Walt Disney World theme parks is well underway along with a couple of well known resorts set to reopen on July 10th. We have more updates for you regarding dining, shopping and activities!

All of Walt Disney World’s DVC properties, with the exception of Jambo House opened to guests on June 22nd.

Many guests are already enjoying these resorts and a full list of dining options available for guests is right here. Dining reservations are now available to all guests and guests traveling within 60 days can book dining for the length of their stay (up to 10 days for onsite guests).

As a reminder, dining reservations do not guarantee admission to the park.

Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Contemporary are the next resorts to reopen on July 10th. Read on to see the experiences available at each resort.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The following will be available at Pop Century beginning on July 10th.

  • Everything POP Shopping & Dining
  • Petals Pool Bar

  • Everything POP Shopping & Dining

  • Pools – including the Hippy Dippy Pool, Bowling Pool and Computer Pool
  • Poolside Activities
  • Movies Under the Stars

  • Bus transportation will be available between the resort and Disney Springs area and to the theme parks
  • Disney Skyliner will be available to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT when they reopen

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Many guests will be pleased to see a few of their favorite offerings at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Among the ones that stand out are California Grill and Chef Mickey’s.

  • California Grill
  • Chef Mickey’s
  • Contempo Cafe
  • Cove Bar
  • The Sand Bar
  • The Wave… of American Flavors
  • The Wave Lounge

It is worth mentioning that at this time, the only confirmed Character Dining (which will be modified) is Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera and Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT. Since Chef Mickey’s is not currently listed as a “modified character experience”, we can expect it to be only dining at this time. This is certainly subject to change.

“Character Dining will not be offered during the initial reopening, with the exception of modified Character Dining experiences at Garden Grill Restaurant and Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera.”

  • Bayview Gifts
  • Fantasia Market

  • Pools
  • Poolside Activities
  • Movies Under the Stars
  • Fitness Center
  • Community Hall
  • Sports Courts
  • Fishing Excursions

  • Bus transportation is available between the resort and Disney Springs area and to EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Monorail will be available to and from the Magic Kingdom; the monorail will NOT be available for EPCOT
