Three new Disney baby animals have arrived at Disney World! Find out where these animals will be calling home.
Disney Baby Animals
Disney's conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from various endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan.
We love sharing Disney baby animal arrival news with the pirate crew! Disney welcomes hundreds of little lives each year.
Disney welcomes hundreds of little lives each year. Some birth stories include Cora the baby elephant, a quartette of baby zebras, a rare set of triplets, the baby tiger-Bakso, and a baby giraffe.
Most recently, Disney World welcomed an Ankole cattle calf. You can see this new arrival HERE.
Three Nyala Calves
Yesterday, Disney shared that three nyala calves have made their arrival! These animals are born with white stripes and spots, which helps them blend into the tall grass.
Nyalas are a unique antelope species. The males and females when grown look completely different. Females have a bright chestnut colored coat, while the males have a gray to dark brown colored coat.
At this time, Disney has not shared if these new nyalas are male or female.
Where To Find Them?
Right now the new additions are currently backstage bonding with their moms. Eventually, the three nyala calves will be out on the savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
