Disney's conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from various endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan.

Recent Disney Babies

Recently, Disney welcomed three Red River Hog piglets! These adorable piglets are Mason, Cooper, and Phillip who were born to mom Clementine. These piglets are now beginning to explore their new home on the savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Mabel, a baby Ankole cattle, was also recently born. She is the first Ankole calf to be born at Disney World in over 20 years! It is exciting to share that Mabel is thriving!

The three Red River Hog piglets weren't the only piglets recently born. Another Red River Hog, Demi, was born to mom Persimmon. You can see this adorable piglet above!

Another baby was born, a male nyala calf was born. He is named Parker, and he is also at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Parker will eventually develop a dark coat and spiral horns, however right now he has white tripes and spots that will help him blend into the grass.
Disney has announced the arrival of THREE more baby animals!

A Masai giraffe has also arrived, and her arrival is a big deal! Masia giraffes are considered endangered with only an estimated 30,000 remaining. Her name has yet to be announced, but right now she is spending time back stage with mom, Willow. Eventually you will find her on the Kilimanjaro Safaris along side her half-brother Tucker.
