Disney's conservation efforts have brought numerous baby animals from various endangered and threatened species into the world. These births are part of an initiative called the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan.

Baby Ivy

Last month, we shared that lots of new Disney babies had arrived. This included a new baby girl giraffe! You can see all the baby animals in that announcement HERE.
Masia giraffes are considered endangered with only an estimated 30,000 remaining.

Ivy Makes Her Debut!

Today, Ivy made her grand arrival on Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna! Check out Ivy making her way onto the savanna and exploring her new space in the video below:
New baby giraffe, Ivy, made her debut on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna today!
At two months old, Ivy now weighs almost 300 pounds and is about 7.5 feet tall!
She has joined her half brother (Tucker), mother (Willow), along with the other giraffes on the savanna!
