Disney has just shared many new updates for the reopening of Disney World! Did you know a dining reservation does not guarantee park admission!? Let’s get started: we have a lot to go over!

We have been anxiously awaiting new updates ever since Disney World announced its reopening dates and plans. With a little over a month to go until we can all head back to the Most Magical Place on Earth, here is what you need to know:

Dining

First, dining reservations are still not available. Once the new reservation system rolls out, Guests traveling within 60 days will be able to book their dining for the length of their stay (up to 10 days for onsite Guests).

Of course, we already know that the Disney Dining Plan has been canceled and will not resume until next year.

NEW: When in-park dining initially becomes available, you’ll need valid park admission, a reservation for park entry and a dining reservation to dine at an in-park, table-service restaurant.

Dining reservations do not guarantee admission to the park.

Be our Guest Breakfast Review

Cashless payments will be encouraged and Guests will be able to find digital menus for table-service restaurants. Guests can utilize mobile ordering for quick-service restaurants.

As we already know, character dining will not be available during the initial reopening. However, a modified character dining experience will be offered at Disney’s Riviera Resort at Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera.

This will likely be similar to the new character dining being tested at Hong Kong Disneyland.

There will be no other character dining!

Dinner shows will not be offered during the initial reopening as well as private dining and in-room delivery.

What do you think about these dining updates? Will you be trying for Topolino’s Terrace for a future trip? Let us know on Facebook. You can also join the discussion in our Crew!

Glad for Disney and the CMs to be able to have some type of modified ability to work. We won’t be spending the $$’s involved until they move back to more normal experience.

They appear and wave at you, maybe dance around a bit. No photos with them
