Disney’s Big Announcement for 2024

As we all set our gaze to countdown to the end of 2023, the Walt Disney Company gave us something to look forward to. Last week, Disney shared surprise guests and exciting teasers of what Disney fans can look forward to in 2024 during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”

Disney fans began to dream about what Disney may announce. The Disney Parks have a few big projects scheduled for 2024 including  Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new update for the Country Bear Jamboree, a reimagining for TestTrack at EPCOT, and an expansion for Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion.

We were hoping that perhaps the big Disney announcement may include one or more of these new projects.

Big News for 2024

Last night during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”, Ryan Seacrest was joined by our favorite couple, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They were both dressed in hats and scarves to bring in the New Year.

The first thing that we noticed was that both Mickey and Minnie were on their cell phones. As they reminisced about some of their favorite memories of 2023, Seacrest joked with Mickey that he didn’t know anyone had more photos of themselves than he did.

This led to the big announcement. Disney will be traveling to select cities in 2024 to hear about your magical Disney memories. The new ad campaign is titled, “This is Magic”.

After this announcement, a fun reel played showcasing many Disney magical memories from guests. Although this sounds fun, we were left wanting a bit more. We will share more information on what this magical tour for 2024 may look like.
