Now guests can buy special preview passes for Tron at Disney World

Tron Lightcylce Power Run

Magic Kingdom is set to open the newest attraction Tron Lightcycle Run on April 4, 2023. Cast Member previews are well underway and soon Annual Passholders can secure preview passes. Find more about when these will be available HERE.

For the time being, we do have height requirements for this attraction and also a big change with a locker system for loose items. Be sure to check out the full details for these new lockers HERE. There will also be a unique attraction photo that you will not want to miss.

We recently shared ride vehicle seat options to accommodate guests and also queue options once this attraction opens on April 4th. There are also some concerns about accessibility for guests with limited mobility through the queue for this attraction.

Purchase Preview Passes

What happens if you want to attend a preview for Tron, but you are not a Cast Member, Annual Passholder, or a Disney Vacation Club Member? There is a now another way to enjoy this great attraction before the general public.

D23 Members can enjoy an exclusive preview event for Tron on Sunday, March 18, 2023. D23 Gold members may purchase up to 2 tickets. There is a limited number of tickets available for purchase. D23 Gold Members will have to provide their membership id number when purchasing tickets.

The D23 Gold Member that purchases these tickets must be present on the day of the event. There will be no special shopping opportunities or special access to Tron attraction merchandise for this event.

Pricing Information

D23 Gold Members can purchase up to 2 tickets on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm (ET). The total cost will be $50 per ticket with an additional $7 processing fee.

This includes the following:

Complimentary parking at the Transportation Ticket Center
Light refreshments for all D23 Gold members
Exclusive entry to preview Tron
A commemorative keepsake from the Grid

D23 Gold Members can purchase up to 2 tickets on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm (ET). The total cost will be $50 per ticket with an additional $7 processing fee.

Check-in will be from 5:00-7:00 on March 18th with the official event beginning at 6:30 and ending at 8:30 pm. Guests may ride Tron as many times as they would like throughout this event.
