Magic Kingdom is set to open the newest attraction Tron Lightcycle Run on April 4, 2023. Very soon Cast Members will enjoy special Cast Member preview dates for this new attraction.

Disney will also host preview opportunities for guests too, including Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members. We are not-so-patiently waiting for these preview dates.

For the time being, we do have height requirements for this attraction and also a big change with a locker system for loose items. Be sure to check out the full details for these new lockers HERE. There will also be a unique attraction photo that you will not want to miss.

We recently shared ride vehicle seat options to accommodate guests and also queue options once this attraction opens on April 4th.

Tron Queue Limitations

With Cast Member previews underway, more information is revealed for this attraction. It now appears that the queue for the Tron attraction may limit access for all guests.

A member of the Kenny the Pirate Crew shared that as they arrived to enter the queue of Tron in an Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) she was asked to park her scooter outside the main entrance to the queue.

According to this early report, guests who are unable to walk through the queue on their own will be asked to transfer to a wheelchair. Cast Members shared that they will offer transfer wheelchairs for guests. This seems entirely possible, as the inner queue for this attraction is quite narrow.

Many fellow Kenny the Pirate Crew members wondered what will happen if guests are traveling alone or if a member of their traveling party is unable to push the wheelchair through the queue. At this time, Disney has not shared full details regarding the queue accessibility for Tron.

According to this early report, guests that are unable to walk through the queue on their own will be asked to transfer to a wheelchair.

What do you think of the limited access for Tron? Will this affect your plans to enjoy this attraction? How do you think this will affect guests with limited mobility? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
