Characters Return
When Disney Parks first reopened in 2020, character interactions were quite different. Over the past years, many of our favorite characters have returned. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can meet their favorite Star Wars characters.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Mickey and Minnie have returned to Adventure Outpost. You can also find them in their EARidescent outfits at the Magic Kingdom at the Town Square Theater.
Over the summer, characters returned to Adventureland and Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, characters have once again returned to Dinoland USA. Be sure to read Monica’s best strategy and tips for meeting characters at Walt Disney World HERE.
These scheduled meet and greets are wonderful, but what about the characters that can be found roaming throughout the Disney Parks?
Rapunzel in a New Location
During my (Donna) first trip to Walt Disney World back in 1991, I remember that there were characters throughout Walt Disney World. Character interactions have changed quite a bit throughout the years. At Disneyland, we love that characters are throughout the parks.
At times rare characters can be found roaming throughout Walt Disney World Resorts and even the Disney Parks. We have recently learned that Rapunzel is roaming near the Rapunzel bathrooms in Fantasyland. Recently, TikTok user @chroniclesofheather shared this amazing video as she interacted with Rapunzel near these bathrooms.
At this time it is uncertain if this may simply be for character training or if this may be a normal character interaction. We would love for this to be a normal occurrence.
We have recently learned that Rapunzel is roaming near the Rapunzel bathrooms in Fantasyland.
