They are back together again! Awww.
Summer is an exciting time as Disney World brings back many of our favorite characters! Mirabel made her debut in the Adventure Friends cavalcade just recently. In a few days, Peter Pan and Snow White return to Fantasyland, and in the coming months, a visit to Magic Kingdom Park will bring chances to meet several characters. Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, Pooh, Tigger and Storybook Circus pals like The Great Goofini in Pete’s Silly Sideshow will all be back in the regular spots once more.
Along with all the friends I just mentioned, a very special lady returned to Town Square!
That’s right! Minnie is back with Mickey at Town Square Theater. Since the greet came back last year, only Mickey was available to say hello to his special pals. We have not had any opportunities to meet with Minnie in her EAR-idescent best. Check out the photos below:
Town Square Theater is located inside the Magic Kingdom on the right side. It’s in the same building as Tony’s.
Since today is the first day Minnie is back with Mickey, expect wait times to be a bit longer. Right now the current wait time is 70 minutes. You can use the Lightning Lane entrance if you purchased Genie+ and the Disability Access Service if you utilize that.
I would anticipate wait times to be higher for the foreseeable future! This dynamic duo is sure to be a hit with the young and young at heart.
Where else can you find characters in their EARidescent outfits?
Disney characters can be spotted in various outfits all over the theme parks and resorts. For example, Mickey and Minnie meet together in their adventurer outfits at Animal Kingdom. However, it can be a bit difficult to find these friends in their 50th clothing.
I was able to catch them at the Visa Photo Spot in Epcot! In fact, I got Mickey AND Goofy! This photo opportunity sees a rotation of characters and outfits, so you may not experience the same thing I did.
My family has also spotted Goofy and Pluto at Port Orleans Riverside last winter. It is possible so it may be worth popping in to Epcot or scoping out the resorts when you can.
