Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction
At the end of 2021, shopDisney teased us with a new collection coming for 2022 featuring our favorite pal, Mickey Mouse. Many were excited to learn that this collection would feature the same attractions as those in the Minnie Mouse Main Attraction Collection in 2020. The first series in this collection featured items from Space Mountain. In this collection, shoppers can choose from a Mickey plush, key, ears, Loungefly and pin. The Minnie the Main Attraction had stackable mugs. However, it did not make its official debut over here in the U.S. until March 14th! Then, we had an entire month to wait until we finally saw the collection on shopDisney.
Series Releases
So far we have seen the following series release after Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean:
- The Mad Tea Party
- it’s a small world
- The Enchanted Tiki Room
- Peter Pan
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
Series release dates have seemed to be random and sometimes pretty close together! A big part of the reason for the first couple of series delay was most likely due to shipping delays and product availability. However, we have seen a lot of the merchandise from these collections at the parks and all over Walt Disney World resorts, not to mention shopDisney.
Series 8
The next series in this collection features Dumbo the Flying Elephant. The collection is full of vibrant colors of blue, red and silver in honor of Dumbo. Of course it has a feather on top of the ears, plush, Loungefly and can be seen on Mickey for the pin. If you look closely at the collectible key, you can see Dumbo himself.
Series 8 of the Mickey Mouse: Main Attraction Series will feature Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
We have yet to receive an official release date for this series, but we should learn more in the coming weeks. Until then, items from various series are still available on shopDisney and can be found at the parks and resorts all around Walt Disney World.
