Many people may have spotted shopDisney’s tease yesterday announcing that they would have a “big announcement”.
If you missed it, check out the post above that was on shopDisney’s Instagram page.
In the post, it says, “Can you spot the character in the image that will be part of our big announcement tomorrow?”
If you look really close, you can see a black silhouette of who…. well, that’s our pal, Mickey Mouse!
So, we know the collection has something to do with Mickey Mouse, but what could it be?
Minnie Mouse Main Street Attraction
Back in dare I say, 2020, shopDisney released the Minnie Mouse Main Street Collection.
Each month included a plush Minnie Mouse and included a beloved attraction found at either Disney World or Disneyland. The series kicked off with Space Mountain, and other months include Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
You can see all of the collections in this post HERE. The collection was highly in demand and often times sold out immediately or within the day it was released.
The collection was so popular that shopDisney developed a MerchPass lottery system just to have the chance to purchase items.

Today, shopDisney revealed their next collection for 2022 and it features everyone’s favorite pal, Mickey Mouse!

Why should Minnie have all the fun, right? Our pal Mickey definitely needs to be in the spotlight.
This collection celebrates 50 years of Walt Disney World. shopDisney has not released any other details relating to the collection, so we will just have to wait and find out what this includes at a later date.
