Character Interactions

Part of what makes a Disney vacation so magical is interacting with your favorite characters. Princesses, The Fab 5, Pixar characters, and more come to life in theme parks and resorts. It was a long (almost) 2 years without hugs and autographs, but it feels like life is breathed back into Disney World now that they have returned.

Be sure to use Character Locator to help you plan your touring strategy with characters. Now that hugs are back lines to meet them can get quite long. Some of the best interactions happen as if by magic. Check out the amazing experience that guests had today at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

As part of the 50th-anniversary celebration, various characters visit the resorts in their EARidescent best. You never know when they will pop up, but if you see the caravan you know they are nearby! Not that long ago, guests were delighted to meet incredibly rare characters at the Art of Animation.

Today, guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge were delighted to see none other than Mickey Mouse and his best pal Pluto. Can you imagine the immense joy that these young guests felt as they saw Mickey and Pluto hanging out in the resort lobby?

These characters arrived unscheduled and they will not appear in resort activity offerings. These unexpected character interactions are what makes Disney Parks so magical. This is such an amazing benefit to staying at a Disney resort inside the “Disney Bubble.” Be sure to check out the magical interaction that Monica’s family had as they stayed at  Port Orleans Riverside late last year.

Today, guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge enjoyed a surprise interaction with both Mickey Mouse and Pluto in the resort lobby.

Join her as she brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust to Disney planning.

  1. Ah, man! When were were there, we had Donald, King Louie, Pinocchio, and Chip and Dale on our first day. Different characters on day two, but not Mickey!
