We have another sneak peek into more merchandise for Disney Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish!
Disney Wish
The Disney Wish will be setting sail on its maiden voyage before we know it! From cinematic dining adventures, a tower suite, entertainment, and stunning staterooms, it has it all. Guests even have a chance to ride on Disney Cruise Line’s first attraction at sea.
The new cruise ship makes its maiden voyage next month! Can you believe that? Guests set sail from Port Canaveral beginning July 14th! That is almost exactly a month away.
Getting Closer
Just last week, Disney Cruise Line President Thomas Mazloum and Meyer Werft Managing Director Jan Meyer signed the official documents transferring ownership of the Disney Wish from the shipbuilder to Disney.
They also raised the official Disney Cruise Line flag and presented Meyer Werft with a golden statuette of Cinderella, which will greet guests into the ship’s Grand Hall. A pillar of The Walt Disney Company’s legacy, Cinderella’s story is the epitome of magic transforming wishes into dreams and dreams into reality.

Today, we have even more merchandise to preview! This is a first look at concept art for the exclusive artist collection coming to the Disney Wish designed by fan-favorite artist Ashley Taylor.
Inspired by the beautiful bronze statue of Cinderella in the ship’s Grand Hall, this dazzling design will appear on an enchanting handbag, apparel, coasters and more! Cinderella’s story is full of enchanting pumpkins, glass slippers and happily ever afters. Now guests can take home a piece of the magic that will last long past midnight!

“Cinderella is one of my favorite Disney princesses! For this collection, I wanted to capture the dreaminess of the song ‘A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.’” She describes the art as, “Cinderella catching a wishing star and making a wish in the Grand Hall.”
