Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Out of the four Disney World theme parks, Animal Kingdom is the most lacking in terms of character interactions. Animal Kingdom relies mostly on floatillas, which are basically water parades, and character dining to bring characters out in the park.
We have seen Kevin and Divine return, which has been wonderful! However, is that really enough? A couple of months ago, we heard a rumor that this favorite duo would return to Animal Kingdom, but no real date or confirmation was given at the time.
Then, Disney announced the duo would return along with other entertainment.
Entertainment Returning
Today, we also received exciting news about the brand new Finding Nemo show debuting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can read about the debut date and the update for Genie+ right HERE. I (Maggie) cannot wait to see this new show!
We are also excited to finally see the Flying Monkeys and acrobatics return in the Festival of the Lion King this summer.
Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost
Have you missed Mickey and Minnie? While you can find Mickey Mouse at Tusker House, we still want to hug him somewhere else, too! Today, we received confirmation that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be meeting once again at Adventurers Outpost beginning on June 19, 2022.

Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost has also been added to Genie+ like Finding Nemo. It’s about time we received some Mickey and Minnie hugs again at this park!
