Not only does each pavilion in the World Showcase have amazing food and architecture, but they also provide entertainment for Guests making their way around the promenade. From characters and scavenger hunts to rides and shows, there is so much to do in each pavilion. I (Monica) love exploring each time I visit. It’s like there is something new to discover every time I go!

Not every pavilion has a show, however. The only countries that offer an inside glimpse in their culture and landscape are China, America, France, and Canada. The American Adventure is a bit different because it is an animatronic show whereas the others are a film.

Canada’s show, called Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360, is temporarily closing. This show transports you to the Great North with breathtaking views. Like the name suggest, the screen offers a 360 degree look in this 12-minute updated show.

Its last day is June 26, and then it will close on June 27. If you have been around our blog for a few years you know this actually happens every year! Epcot likes to use the theater for the International Food & Wine Festival.

The Canada Far and Wide show will close on June 27 for Food & Wine.

The theater will be used for a Canada food “booth”, but don’t worry, the famous steak and cheddar soup will still be out on the promenade. Last year it was used for an apple-themed booth.

In the meantime, be sure to check out Albert Bound for some entertainment in Canada!

When will it reopen?

Last year, the show reopened shortly after Food & Wine ended for the season. Like in previous years, this year’s festival is set to end on November 19. We can expect to see the show return a week or so later.

Because the Disney calendar does not go that far out, we do not have an exact date for its return. We will be sure to share when we have that information!
