New Dining Option: “Eats at the Epcot Experience”

“Eats at the Epcot Experience” will offer some menu options for guests to enjoy with the upcoming refurbishment of Electric Umbrella.

If you have been to Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts, which opened this past Friday, you may have noticed a new dining option listed on the guide. It’s called “Eats at the Epcot Experience” and features flatbreads, chicky nuggies (er, chicken nuggets), and desserts.

Electric Umbrella closing

Located at The Epcot Experience, “Eats at the Epcot Experience” is the other half of the menu that Epcot loses when Electric Umbrella closing. The other half is Taste Track Burgers and Fries.

There is no opening date announced for “Eats at the Epcot Experience.” We will be sure to share once we know!

A Big List of All the Refurbishments Scheduled for Disney World and Disneyland for Early 2020 (Some Start Today!)

Taste Track Burgers and Fries was supposed to open on January 17 near Test Track (currently closed due to refurbishment). However, it was not open when Kenny was at Epcot that day. It’s unclear when the temporary kiosk will actually open.

There is also still no word on when Electric Umbrella will close for its extensive refurbishment. However, rest assured when it does close we will still get most of the same food offerings through “Eats at the Epcot Experience” and Taste Track Burgers and Fries.

Refurbishments at Epcot

This is just one of my refurbishments happening at Epcot right now. As just mentioned, Test Track is currently closed. Some of the shopping stores have been closed or moved, and the attractions in the Imagination! Pavilion will be open later in the day.

Characters have also been moved around, and we lost Sadness, who used to meet with Joy.

Festival of the Arts

We do have a silver lining for this messy Epcot refurbishment: Festival of the Arts! Happening now through February 24, this festival celebrates the visual, culinary, and performing arts through workshops, performances, food, and so much more.

If you are heading to Disney in the coming months, I encourage you to still go to Epcot! The festival is so much fun, and the Flower and Garden Festival is just around the corner!

Are you heading to Epcot in the coming months? Are you going to try “Eats at the Epcot Experience” or Taste Track? Let us know on the facebook page!
