Zootopia 3 is Officially Happening

It's official. Another Zootopia sequel is on the way to theatres! If you love the Zootopia franchise, you will love this!

It's D23 weekend, and that means that there will be no shortage of announcements for the Walt Disney Company. This includes news for Parks, Film, Television, Merchandise, and more!

We have already had plenty of updates for Disney Parks. These include news for attractions such as Carousel of Progress, Encanto, and an all-new Star Wars attraction!

There is also plenty of entertainment news, including a polarizing new Bluey trailer, a brand new animated movie, live-action Tangled, and Frozen 3!

Zootopia 3

Frozen isn't the only franchise getting a 3rd installment. Disney just confirmed that Zootopia 3 is in development.

This news probably comes as no great surprise to anyone who saw the movie and stuck around through the credits. After all, the post-credits scene from Zootopia 2 set the stage for a sequel.

Disney's social media accounts have posted the phrase, "The world of Zootopia is about to go to the birds." This is also in keeping with the post-credits scene.

We also know that some stars are returning to reprise their roles. Ginnifer Goodwin will be back to play Judy Hopps, and Jason Bateman is returning as Nick Wilde.
