Disney+ Subscribers Notified of New Price Increases

Disney+ debuted in 2019 and has seen many changes over the years. One of the biggest changes, of course, was price increases.
In August 2022, Disney+ introduced an ad-supported tier. Even with this change, every year the price for both the Basic subscription (ad-supported) and the Premium subscription (no ads) continues to climb.
Over the years, Disney+ has offered bundles allowing subscribers to enjoy various streaming platforms.
Disney+ Tiers
Disney+ offers a variety of tiers and bundles both with and without ads. The cheapest tier is the Disney+ (with ads) and Hulu (with ads) bundle for $12.99 per month.
Many Disney fans do not like the idea of ads being added to their favorite Disney content, but the lure of a lower-priced Disney+ streaming plan enticed many.
However, now Bloomberg hints that more price increases will affect Disney+ subscribers with ad-free tiers. Reportedly, Disney is now notifying select subscribers prior to an official statement.
Disney+ Price Increases
According to Bloomberg, the Disney+ subscribers that were contacted have recently noted the amount of this price increase. The Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Premium is priced at $19.99 per month and includes both Disney+ and Hulu with no ads. This will soon increase to $21.99 per month.
Disney+ Premium (ad-free tier) is currently priced at $18.99 but will soon jump to $21.49 a month. With a similar price increase for Hulu Premium (ad free tier), from $19.99 to $21.49 a month.
Disney+ subscribers are now being notified of upcoming price increases.
After so many price increases since Disney+ first launched in 2019, we have to wonder when the price hikes will finally end.
