Disney+ Price Increases Affect Select Subscribers

Disney+ debuted in 2019 and has seen many changes over the years. One of the biggest changes, of course, was price increases.

In August 2022, Disney+ introduced an ad-supported tier. Even with this change, every year the price for both the Basic subscription (ad-supported) and the Premium subscription (no ads) continues to climb.

Over the years, Disney+ has offered bundles allowing subscribers to enjoy various streaming platforms.

Disney+ offers 5 Disney+ Hulu Bundles. The cheapest is the Disney+ (with ads) and Hulu (with ads) bundle for $12.99 per month. The Disney+ and Hulu Bundle Premium is priced at $19.99 per month and includes both Disney+ and Hulu with no ads.

Adding ESPN to a Disney+ bundle is offered with 3 options: Disney+ Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle (all with ads) for $35.99 monthly; Disney+ (no ads), Hulu (no ads), ESPN (with ads) Unlimited Bundle Premium for $44.99 monthly; and Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle (all with no ads) for $21.00 monthly.

Finally, there is the Legacy Disney Bundle offering Disney+ (No Ads), Hulu (With Ads), and ESPN+ (With Ads). This plan is no longer offered. However, current subscribers can keep this plan as long as they don't cancel or change.

Currently, the Legacy Disney Bundle is offered at $24.99 per month. Starting September 17, 2026, this will increase to $27.99 per month.

This is unfortunate for these subscribers. This follows along with other ESPN streaming price increases that go into effect next month.
