A First Look at Disney's New Encanto Attraction

Disney is sharing all kinds of information about the additions to Disney Parks around the world. Now we have a look at the Animatronics for the brand-new Encanto attraction!

D23 2026 is here! And that means all the Disney Parks news is coming your way all weekend long!

D23 is Disney's ultimate fan event. Each year Disney treats guests and viewers to a convention full of entertainment, surprises, and major announcements.

Disney has already announced a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Float and given us a look at the new Carousel of Progress updates. And now we have news for Disney's Animal Kingdom!

Encanto and Tropical Americas

So many people are excited to see an Encanto attraction come to Disney Parks. Dinoland U.S.A. is being transformed into Tropical Americas.

When the dust settles, Animal Kingdom will have an entirely new land. Tropical Americas will feature a thrilling new Indiana Jones attraction in place of Dinosaur.

It will also bring in an Encanto attraction, inspired by Casita. And now we have a special look at the inner workings of the attraction.

Encanto Audio Animatronics

D23 brought fans a display of the Audio-Animatronics figures that will appear in one of the scenes. These include a donkey and an adorable capybara. It looks like the attraction has the potential to showcase Imagineering at its finest.

Disney's Encanto Attraction will feature New Audio-Animatronics.

You can also see elements of another attraction. The four carved animals are destined to be on the carousel at Tropical Americas.

Many fans will doubtless love the promise of state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics. In an age where there is a bit of an overreliance on screens and projections, it is nice to see Disney doing what Disney does best!
