Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a deluxe Magic Kingdom Area resort in Walt Disney World. The last few years have featured a great deal of change at the Polynesian, one of Walt Disney World's flagship resorts.
We have seen a Moana room makeover, DVC room refreshes, club level enhancements, a new entrance and monorail platform, and the announcement of a DVC expansion at the resort.
STARTING TOMORROW - Traffic Pattern Change

Disney is preparing Guests for an upcoming traffic pattern change near Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Guests with upcoming reservations (dining and room) have been notified by email of this upcoming change. You can read the details HERE.
The intersection of Seven Seas Drive and Floridian Way is set to close tomorrow, July 13, 2026!

Check-In Location And Parking

A warning for Guests that will be staying at Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows with this new traffic pattern. Because of the new traffic pattern Guests staying at the Island Tower must enter by Floridian Way.
Beginning tomorrow, Guests staying at the Island Tower must park and check-in at the Tower and enter by Floridian Way.
Guests previously could check in for the Island Tower at either the Great Ceremonial Hall or directly in the lobby of the Island Tower. Now, Guests will need to check-in at the Island Tower lobby. This will begin tomorrow, July 13, 2026.
