Could This Change Improve runDisney Registration?
Registering for a runDisney event is stressful. Do you think this change could make registering for runDisney event better?
Princess Half Marathon Weekend Met With Frustration

The runDisney 2027 Princess Half Marathon takes place February 25th through March 1st 2027. This weekend's events include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Challenge (10K and Half Marathon), and yoga.
Athletes were met with lots of frustration when registration was delayed and then postponed to another day.
Registration has now moved to Monday, June 8th. Get the details HERE.
What Caused The Issue?

runDisney has not shared an official reason as to why registration could not be held as previously scheduled. Many assume that the website couldn't handle the amount of traffic.
NO OFFICIAL REASON FROM RUNDISNEY HAS BEEN SHARED FOR WHY PRINCESS HALF MARATHON WEEKEND DID NOT OCCUR AS SCHEDULED.
Many hopeful athletes use multiple devices and browsers to try and get a spot for these popular events. This leads people to believe that the servers could have been overwhelmed by the demand.
Is This A Fix?

Today, Disney Vacation Club held registration for their Summer Season Moonlight Magic events. Before you entered the queue, you had to enter your Disney Vacation Club Membership Number. See the picture that Members were met with below:

If Members tried to enter the waiting room from another device, they still had to enter their Membership Number. This gave the Member the same Queue ID, which gave them the same place in line. You could not hold multiple places in line!
"Disney Vacation Club may limit the number of devices per Membership Number that can enter the Waiting Room."

Once it was the Members turn, they still had to reenter their Membership Number before proceeding to the registration page.
Could runDisney have a way for athletes sign in before entering the queue? Would this help make registration smoother as athletes could only be logged in on from one device?
See what other changes we think athletes would like to see happen with registration HERE.
