NEWS: runDisney Announces NEW 2027 Princess Half Marathon Registration Date
runDisney has just shared when General Registration will open for the 2027 Princess Half Marathon Weekend. Get the details.
2027 Princess Half Marathon Weekend
The runDisney 2027 Princess Half Marathon takes place February 25th through March 1st 2027. This weekend's events include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Challenge (10K and Half Marathon), and yoga.
Yesterday, June 2nd, was set to be the General Registration for the 2027 Princess Half Marathon.Unfortunately, athletes trying to register yesterday were met with frustration.
Registration Difficulties
If you weren't trying to register yesterday, you may be wondering what happened. At first, athletes were informed that registration was delayed and update would occur at 10:30 AM. Around 10:30 AM runDisney informed athletes that registration was still delayed and another update would be provided at 11 AM. You can read more about this HERE.
runDisney has not officially announced what caused the issue with registration yesterday.
At 11 AM, runDisney shared that registration for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend would not be happening as anticipated. You can see the full announcement HERE.
Last night, runDisney announced that they would share more information today, June 3rd regarding when General Registration would be. They did share that they would give 24 hour notice prior to registration opening, and registration would not take place this week. You can read their full statement to athletes HERE.
New Date!
runDisney has announced a new date for the 2027 Princess Half Marathon Weekend. On their socials they share:
"To our runDisney Family,
We appreciate everyone who has been following along and waiting for this update. The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend registration will now open on Monday, June 8 at 10:00 AM ET. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued excitement for race weekend."
The 2027 Princess Half Marathon Weekend General Registration will now take place on Monday, June 8th at 10 AM ET.
