The Disney World Parking Update You Need to Plan For
Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE, and transportation is a big factor in enjoying all that this resort has to offer. Check out the newest parking change that you need to be aware of.

There are many differing opinions on transportation options, largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting. The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE and many questions revolve around which is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park.
From the Skyliner, buses, ferry boats, and of course the monorail there are many options for Resort Guests to arrive at each of the Walt Disney World Parks. Many times, guests hope to drive and park at a different Walt Disney World Resort than they are staying at to enjoy dining or shopping.
Disney Springs Parking Closure

Back in January, the Lime Garage at Disney Springs closed for maintenance. The Central Florida Tourism District shared that the Lime Garage will be receiving structural repairs.
Due to this closure, this caused the other parking garages became even more congested. Walt Disney World made a much-needed upgrade to the My Disney Experience app.
Listed under the Park Hours, guests can now check parking availability at Disney Springs. Under the operating hours for Disney Springs, a warning message will appear in red that "Parking Currently at Capacity." More on this update HERE.
Lime Garage Reopens

Recently, The Boathouse, one of the most popular Disney Springs dining locations, shared that the Lime parking garage is now open
The Lime parking garage is now fully reopened at Disney Springs.
Don't forget! If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can take Disney Transportation. Disney Transportation from any Disney Resort Hotel to Disney Springs is free, and you will not have to be worried about parking availability.
