Like all apps, it receives regular updates to improve the overall guest experience.

Just recently, Disney streamlined viewing your daily plans with the new "My Plans" feature, and is testing a new feature to search for merchandise availability.

Disney now offers a new feature on the My Disney Experience app that is a welcome addition.

Earlier, Disney warned guests, "Due to limited capacity, Disney Springs may need to occasionally pause parking and pedestrian entry." Large road signs warned guests of closures only once they were driving towards Disney Springs.

This was quite frustrating for many Guests, but now a new feature shares parking alerts on the My Disney Experience app.

Listed under the Park Hours, guests can now check parking availability at Disney Springs. Under the operating hours for Disney Springs, a warning message will appear in red that "Parking Currently at Capacity."

This is a great new update, especially with the Lime Garage closing for several weeks for a long refurbishment. The Lime Garage will have a phased closure with the first phase beginning January 12 through February 11, and the second phase beginning February 17 through March 13.

  1. This is great, but I wish they would do something like this for the Skyliner. A notification whenever the Skyliner is down would help out TREMENDOUSLY.
