Another closure for maintenance is about to hit Walt Disney World. Find out if this closure will impact your Disney vacation.

Refurbishments at Disney World

Refurbishments happen at Disney World for all kinds of reasons. These refurbishments can be for routine maintenance or to bring new elements. Refurbishment closures can happen to hotel rooms, pools, merchandise shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Disney does its best to notify Guests of upcoming closures, so Guests can modify plans if needed.

Some major refurbishments happening around Walt Disney World soon are the Grand Floridian Lobby, the Fort Wilderness Lobby, and the porte cochere at Disney's Beach Club.

Lime Garage Closure

The Lime Garage at Disney Springs is scheduled to close for maintance in early 2026. The Central Florida Tourism District has shared that the Lime Garage will soon be receiving structural repairs.

The Lime Garage will close from January 12th through March 13th 2026. However, this is a brief period that the garage will open for President's Day Weekend.

From January 12th through Feburary 11th the Lime Garage will close. It will reopen from February 12th through the 16th. The garage will close again from February 17th through the completion of the project, which is set to finish on March 13th.

What Does This Mean For You?

This is a very popular parking garage at Disney Springs. Guests visiting Disney Springs by car during this closure, will still be able to park at other Disney Springs parking locations.

Guests will still be able to use the Orange Garage, Lime Garage, and surface parking during the Lime Garage Closure.
