Disney Announces Opening Date for New Section of Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is in the midst of a major overhaul with lots of construction happening. But we now have the opening date for one of the new areas! Things are shaping up soon!
A Hollywood Studios Overhaul
So much is changing at Disney's Hollywood Studios! But when the dust settles, we'll see attractions featuring Classic Disney animation, Alice in Wonderland, Mickey and Minnie, Muppets, Monsters, Inc., and more!
Muppets Courtyard is being converted into Monstropolis. Rock 'n' Rollercoaster headed to its last concert earlier this month, and now the Muppets are movin' right along in taking it over.
And, Animation Courtyard's overhaul is nearing completion too! Here are all the details for all new experiences moving in, including opening dates!
The Walt Disney Studios
Animation Courtyard is turning into "The Walt Disney Studios" outdoor courtyard. This will include fun new experiences for families to see and explore!
There will also be other experiences opening, such as "The Magic of Disney Animation," which will include an animation experience called "Olaf Draws" as well as Drawn to Wonderland, the Alice in Wonderland Playground!
Lastly, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! is opening. This show will be similar to the dance party that young guests already love.
When does it all Open?
Disney just announced that "The Walt Disney Studios" outdoor courtyard will be open on May 26, 20206. Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! will be included in the opening!

The Magic of Disney Animation experiences, including the Alice play area, will all be rolling out later this summer. We can't wait to explore it all!
