Muppet Courtyard Phased Closure

The Muppet Courtyard is undergoing a phased closure, with Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano’s final day scheduled for May 10, 2025.

We previously shared that Disney has filed a permit associated with the Stage 1 Company Store, located in Muppets Courtyard. This entire area will eventually be changed to allow for the new Monsters Inc. Land.

Disney guests and Muppet fans will still have a few more weeks to enjoy PIzzeRizzo and Muppet Vision 3D. There is even a special filming scheduled to help preserve this favorite attraction of many.

Muppet Vision Farewell

On June 8, 2025, Muppets Courtyard will be barricaded to guests. However, a special final farewell will be held on June 10, 2025, for Cast Members at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This special farewell party will include final showings at Muppet Vision 3D, and games. Those attending will also have special access to the Stage 1 Company Store and PizzeRizzo.

This will be such a fun celebration for the Cast Members who truly make the magic happen every day.

Disney Cast Member Perks

When an attraction is set to close, there is usually a pretty big crowd that forms to enjoy the final hours of operation. Back when DinoLand began its phased closure in January, Cast Members enjoyed a special “Goodbye-O-Rama” event.

Special Muppet Farewell is now set for June 10, 2025.

During this special farewell party, guests enjoyed Fossil Fun Games, the TriceraTop Spin, and even fun characters. This is such a fun way to say goodbye for Disney Cast Members.
