Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith Will Close FOREVER - Final Date Announced

Disney has officially announced when Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will close forever. Find out the details.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Closing

Last November, Walt Disney World confirmed a Muppets re-theme of the popular attraction.

Disney shared that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will officially close "Spring 2026". The new Muppet re-theme will debut in "Summer 2026.

Disney is not known for completing projects in a speedy pace. Many questioned how a complete re-theme could take place for this attraction within the same calendar year.

Phased Closure

Earlier this month, we shared that the pre- show was already removed from the attraction. The large glass windows are now covered with G-Force Records screens. It appears that work is already taking place for the new Muppet themed pre-show.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster pre-show is now blocked off to guests.

Disney describes the new Muppet pre-show as, "With your VIP passes, you'll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where - wouldn't you know it - you'll find the Electric Mayhem are cranking out some seriously rocking tunes. "

FINAL RIDE

Be sure to "Walk This Way" as you only have a bit longer to enjoy the attraction! Disney has announced that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will permanently close on March 2, 2026.

The last day to enjoy the attraction is March 1, 2026.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will have its last day of operation on March 1, 2026. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open in the Summer of 2026.
